Snow Poetry

We have been writing poetry inspired by Hone Tuwhare's Rain poem. This poem appeals to our senses and uses alliteration and metaphors.

Snow
I can hear you as
You whip
Past my ears
I can feel your
Soft touch on my unprotected
Face.

Your cold taste on my tongue is a
Electric whip through my body.

I see you impact on the
Ground, creating a perfect
Surface to ski on.

If I was deaf the sensational
Smell of you will tell me.
Snow. The best fun I ever had
